GVMD "M4" back in stock!!! Lot "B" shipping 9-17-26!
This legendary Green Vein Maeng Da ("GVMD") harvest is the prized lot referred to as "M4". This is one of the finest specimens we've ever discovered and will be sad when it's all gone. We were recently lucky to be able to secure more through the original source/shipment in a vault. Lot B is fresher and a slightly wider profile than the original Lot A. We like Lot B better!
This harvest starts with green-veined leaves having Maeng Da genetics (spike-tipped leaves with serrated edges) from old trees, cured indoors on drying racks with a special curing method to preserve the fresh aromatic quality that we often prize. The final powder is on the greener end, color-wise, and has some other characteristics that we're always looking for when choosing harvests to stock our inventory. First, you'll instantly notice the intense rush of fruity and floral notes upon the nose. We often describe this scent as Juicy Fruit (or bubblegum), even very similar to the way the candy Smarties smells, almost like cherries. Also present is a slight citrus note, and along with the cherries, almost like cherry limeade. These notes are a result of a rare combination of naturally occurring essences created by the age of the trees, the harvesting method/time, as well as the way the leaf is cured. It takes great attention to detail from growing to storage in order to develop a profile with these essences. With the dry powder, our palate picks up a fast-spreading grassy-green wave that has a seemingly powdery texture of lingering dryness with notes of fermented wheat grain. Mixed in water, the nose detects a strong citrus note along with a slightly floral, grassy-green character along with the scent of a Spring rainstorm. The palate interestingly detects mostly a basic note of managably bitter, grassy-green. This GVMD is a nicely potent harvest for those looking for a greener, faster-cured harvest!
