Description

"Lot A" harvest shipping 6-13-25 - CURRENTLY OUT OF STOCK!

The current Haystack Stem & Vein lot has the same texture as the v4 process. When milling our CL#5431 crushed leaf harvest, we always end up with stem/vein fibers that are sifted out and separated from that process. We separately run this fiber back into the milling process 5 more times to pulverize it into a nice powder. Stems and veins have a different profile from sifted leaf, so this is somewhat of a delicacy. Since stems/veins only represent about 3-5% of the total mass of dried leaves, it is a scarce by product. The milling process for this fiber is tough on mills, creates additional heat, and requires a slow-feeding rate. This causes Haystack to have a premium price, but it is worth checking it out to compare the profile against the sifted CL#5431 we also offer! Haystack is very scarce and will be gone forever once it's gone. We anticipate it will be out of stock at some point in 2026.

This raw material is sold as a botanical specimen only.

Previous harvests: 8-1-12 (v1), 8-12-13 (v2), 3-31-16 (v3), 3-20-17 (v3 re-release), 6-21-19 (v3.1), 9-29-22 (v4)
