Version 12 (lot "L") features even more legendary additions accumulated since 2009, all prized harvests that we consider to be the best examples of the "red" style and having red-veined leaves! This one includes some phenomenal shade-cured harvests, also some gems from our vault archival which make this one the best "reds" mix ever!
On the nose, Lot "L" has sweet hints of raisins, honey, and baked cookies. On the palate, it's not as sweet, and the dry powder has a full-bodied wheat-like essence with a unique and distinct oily, "busy" and lingering warmth that shows the strength of the many parts within this blend. Mixed with water, the scent takes on a salty, waterlogged hay character, which interestingly translates to the palate too, along with some manageable bitterness having a "warm" and busy action through the finish, showing its quickness.
"Redemption" blend contains over 50+ red-veined harvests accumulated over the last. These harvests individually were some of the greatest finds in our history - they are either leftovers from our product line, or they are small samples of never-to-be-seen-again trees/harvests (from trusted harvesters). What an awesome way to utilize these sitting gems! Each component within this blend is high quality leaf, no filler!
